What is obesity?
Obesity is the accumulation of excess fat resulting in a body
weight which is more than 25% above what is considered to be normal

most often used to determine whether someone is obese.
BMI is a measure of your relative weight to your height and is
calculated by taking your weight in Kilogrammes divided by your
height in metres squared.
You are overweight if your BMI is over 26 and you are obese if
your BMI is greater than 30.

risks. Obesity can increase your chances of developing serious
