I am experienced in managing all aspects of diabetes and have a particular interest in thyroid disease, an area in which I havepublished many articles and papers . In recent years I have developed and led nationally recognised programmes using Telemedicine. My current area of focus is the development and use of  internet delivered services to support self management, for people with a range of  long term conditions. I believe that allowing individuals to identify and follow through on their own goals empowers them to manage their health issues more effectively and that a collaborative, holistic approach to long term condition care is an essential element of modern medicine.
