Clinical interests
Extensive experience in allaspects of Otology (ears), reconstructive surgery, ossiculoplastyand stapes surgery. Dealing with chronic ear infections and otitis externa. Outcomesare regularly audited. Rhinology - nasal conditions range from assessment of thesense of smell, allergy to difficulty breathing. Problems can be related toseptal deviation and the presence of ‘polyps', with many years of experience with ‘functionalendoscopic sinus surgery' - FESS. Rhinoplasty procedures are assessed for patientswith history of traumatic deformity. Patients with head and neck symptoms are treated. Those diagnosed with cancer are referred to appropriate multidisciplinary teams

Cochlear implant studies include, re-implantation,preservation of hearing, benefits of bilateral implants, children with specialneeds, adults with non-organic hearing loss Examinations:Senior intercollegiate examiner since 2002. Exam questionwriter, exam proofing and review of performance. UK examiner for the European ORL.
